PROCOR COPS NABBED 2 HIGH VALUE DRUG PERSONALITIES

Camp Major Bado Dangwa, La Trinidad, Benguet – (July 7, 2021) – Following the arrest of five (5) drug personalities this week, another two (2) High-Value Individuals (HVI) were arrested in separate buy-bust operations conducted in Abra and Baguio City in the afternoon of June 6, 2021.

Based on reports submitted to the Regional Director PBGEN RONALD OLIVER LEE, the suspects were identified as Edwin Obngayan Villamor Jr, 33, resident of Abra and Mark Anthony Calub, 34, resident of Baguio City.

In Abra, Villamor Jr. was nabbed by joint operatives of PIU/PDEU; Lagangilang MPS, and  Abra PPO after transacting and selling suspected shabu weighing MOL 2 grams and .15 grams with Standard Drug Price (SDP) of Php 15,000 to an undercover operative.

During the course of his arrest, the additional one (1) plastic sachet of suspected shabu weighing MOL two (2) grams with SDP of Php 13,600.00; boodle money and the tricycle used in the transaction was seized from him.

Documentation and inventory of the seized pieces of evidence were done on-site witnessed by Brgy. Captain Alejandro A. Alfiler; Edgar Tanura, Media representative and Carmelo T Barber, DOJ representative.

Moreover, in Baguio City, Calub fell in the hands of anti-illegal drug operatives of Baguio CPO after selling two (2) plastic sachets of suspected shabu weighing MOL one (1) gram with SDP of Php 3, 500.00.

Inventory and documentation of seized pieces of evidence were done on-site in the presence of Brgy. kagawad Renato Flores; Prosecutor Don Emmanuel VC Vergara, and Kervy Rillera and Robert Luna of ZRADIO .

Both suspects were brought to the respective arresting units for documentation and proper disposition, while a case for violation of  Section 5 of RA9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 is being prepared against them. (PROCOR-PIO)
