Kalinga police fulfilled promise to Dupag community

March 12, 2021 – As promised, Kalinga police launched an impact project dubbed as “Water Work System” through a ground breaking activity at Sitio Gaogao, Brgy Dupag, Tabuk City on March 6, 2021.

Personnel of Tabuk City Police Station (CPS), along with Barangay officials of Dupag, Barangay Peacekeeping Action Teams (BPATs), Police Trainees, and members of the Philippine Army, started the installation of water pipes from the main water source situated at Sitio Dao, Brgy Dupag, Tabuk City going to the areas of the beneficiaries.

According to PLTCOL RADINO S BELLY, Chief of Police of Tabuk CPS, during a previous pulong-pulong with the barangay, barangay officials and the community requested for a water system to be installed in their area.

Kalinga police immediately conducted a site visitation in the barangay and proceeded to make plans for the project to be made possible.

The “Water Work System” project was funded by the National Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict (NTF-ELCAC) budget of Tabuk City Police Station.

When completed, this project will benefit 23 households, Gaogao Elementary School, St. Joseph Church, and Dupag Barangay Hall.
