43 Wanted Personalities nabbed in PROCOR manhunt OPS
The relentless effort of PROCOR cops to track down persons wanted by the law resulted in the arrest of 43 wanted personalities from January 24 to January 30, 2022.
Based on the records of PROCOR Regional Investigation and Detective Management Division (RIDMD), Benguet PPO has the highest number of arrests with 19 arrested individuals followed by Baguio CPO with 15 arrests, Apayao and Kalinga both with four arrests; and Abra with one arrest.
Of the 43 arrested wanted persons, 14 are listed as Most Wanted Persons (MWP) in various levels, one in Regional Level; one in City Level; six in Provincial Level; two in Municipal Level; and four in Station Level.
At the Regional Level, Reynaldo A. Galanido listed as No. 5 MWP was arrested for the crime of Rape.
At the City Level, Noel C. Domingo listed as No. 3 MWP was arrested for Robbery with Intimidation.
At the Provincial Level, Danny Y. Maruquin listed as No. 2 MWP was arrested for the crime of murder with illegal possession of a firearm; Edwin R. Villegas listed as No. 6 MWP was arrested for the crime of Murder; Devy Q. Gapas listed as No. 6 MWP was arrested for violation of Anti-Violence against Women and Children Act of 2004.
Still in the Provincial Level, Kenneth L. Bankin listed as No. 1 MWP, and Jemler B. Lasaten listed as No. 6 MWP were both arrested for the crime of Rape; and Elenger L. Tamayao listed as No. 9 MWP was arrested for the crime of New Anti-Carnapping Act of 2016 (RA 10883).
Moreover, at the Municipal Level, Marvin Garay listed as No. 1 MWP was arrested for violation of RA 7610; Pedro B. Vicente listed as No. 1 MWP was also arrested for the violation of Article 315 as amended by PD 1689 (Swindling).
In the Station Level, Mc John R. Balazon listed as No. 5 MWP, and Glaiza C. Bianes both were arrested for the crime of Qualified Theft; Armando G. Ledesma listed as No. 9 MWP was arrested for crime Grave Threats in relation to RA 9262; Eugene Fernandez listed as No. 4 MWP was arrested for the crime of Robbery with force upon things. (PROCOR-PIO)
