108 PROCOR COPS to undergo Counter-Insurgency Training

Another batch of Cordillera cops has officially begun their training on internal security operations as part of PNP’s program to combat insurgency and terrorism.

A total of 108 male police officers from the different Police Provincial Offices and City Police Office of Police Regional Office Cordillera comprised the BISOC Class 01&02 2022 RCOR Alpha to Bravo company.

In a simple ceremony held at Dam 2, Philex Mines, Itogon, Benguet on March 8, 2022, PCOL BENJAMIN DL SEMBRANO, the Deputy Regional Director for Operations (DRDO), graced the event as the Guest of Honor and Speaker.

In his message, PCOL SEMBRANO encouraged the trainees to pay attention and learn as much as possible from the program.

PCOL SEMBRANO also reiterated that the knowledge and skills that they will acquire in the program should only be used to uphold peace and order.

The Basic Internal Security Operations Course is a three-month rigid training. It prepares the police officers to be highly effective and efficient in internal security operations as they will be trained and be equipped with the different strategies in combating insurgency and terrorism.
