Ifugao Police join the Celebration of Women’s Month

On March 7, 2022, PCOL JAMES DUCCOG MANGILI, Provincial Director of Ifugao Police Provincial Office led the Kick-off Ceremony of the 2022 National Women’s Month Celebration with a theme “WE Make CHANGE Work for Women” and sub-theme Agenda ng Kababaihan Tungo sa Kaunlaran.
The kick-off ceremony coincided with the traditional Monday flag-raising ceremony at Camp Col. Joaquin P Dunuan, Poblacion South, Lagawe, Ifugao.
Ms. Angeline G. Dressler, the President of Ifugao Women’s Organization, graced the event as the guest of honor and speaker.
As the highlights of the ceremony, Ms. Dressler assisted by PCOL MANGILI and Belen B Tayaban, NAPOLCOM Officer, awarded the Certificate of Commendation and Recognition to the outstanding women of the Ifugao PPO for their notable accomplishments, exemplary dedication, and competence as working women of the organization.
In her message, Ms. Dressler congratulated the Ifugao PPO and reiterated the reasons for celebrating women’s month.
“It is a celebration of women exercising their choices, taking chances to make their voices heard, and benefiting from and trailblazing changes”. Ms. Dressler said.
“It is a celebration of Filipino women’s power to take the narrative, raise priority issues that matter to them, and call for concrete actions. Adding that the National Women’s History Alliance selects and publishes the 2022 theme- providing healing, promoting hope as a tribute to the continual work of caregivers and front line workers during this ongoing pandemic that women of all cultures have provided both healing and hope throughout history.
