Sharing Love Through Community Support at Helping Hands Healing Hearts Ministry
BAGUIO CITY, Philippines, 7th October 2026 – Children at Helping Hands Healing Hearts Ministry enjoyed a shared meal through a feeding activity led by iFM Baguio, with SM City Baguio as one of its partners.
Held at the residential care facility, the activity provided a shared meal for the children while bringing together partners who continue to support the ministry and the children it serves.
The activity was conducted through the Ma. Corrina Canoy Feeding Program, which honors the late Ma. Corrina Canoy, wife of RMN Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Mr. Enrico O. Canoy. Inspired by her advocacy of uplifting the well-being of people in need, the program provides feeding activities to communities and forms part of the Foundation’s Corporate Social Responsibility program under the Radyo SustanSaya pillar.
For iFM Baguio Station Manager Wingard Tiburcio, partnerships with organizations such as SM City Baguio help the program reach more children and communities.
“Partners like SM City Baguio help us extend this advocacy to more children and families. Their support strengthens our ability to provide nutritional feeding activities and reach more communities, helping us make a lasting difference in children’s well-being,” Tiburcio said.
At Helping Hands Healing Hearts Ministry, the support is appreciated as it helps the organization respond to the everyday needs of the children under its care.

“As someone who works closely with the children and families in the community, having partners that support us through humanitarian works like feeding programs is much appreciated. It is an encouragement to us that we are not alone in the mission field. We have supporters who uplift us and help us make a difference in the lives of the children we serve,” said Jemimah Posnayan, coordinator of Helping Hands Healing Hearts Ministry.
Posnayan added that the assistance also helps the ministry manage some of its daily expenses.
“It is not just an ordinary meal. It is an effort our partners provide which helps us lessen an expense for the day,” she said.

For the ministry, feeding programs are also an opportunity for different groups to take part in supporting the children they serve.
“For us, feeding programs are not only a traditional culture to help during crisis but it is where people wanted to be part of the story. The children we serve will forever be grateful and will always remember that Helping Hands is also composed of community involvement,” Posnayan said.
Through initiatives such as this, SM City Baguio continues to support community efforts that respond to the needs of children. As the most loved mall in Baguio, it remains committed to building meaningful partnerships that bring care and support closer to the community.
