PROCOR COPS nailed 17 wanted personalities

Camp Major Bado Dangwa, La Trinidad, Benguet-  (September 8, 2021) – As part of the continuous manhunt operations of the Police Regional Office Cordillera, PROCOR cops nailed 17 wanted personalities with warrants of arrest from August 29 to September 4, 2021.

Based on the records given to PROCOR Regional Director, PBGEN RONALD OLIVER LEE, for this week, Kalinga PPO has the highest number of arrests with eight (8) arrested individuals followed by Baguio CPO with three (3) arrests, Abra with two (2) arrests, another two (2) in Benguet PPO while Ifugao PPO and Mountain Province with one (1) arrest each.

The highlights of this week’s manhunt operations were the arrest of nine (9) Most Wanted Persons, of which, three (3) are listed in the Provincial Level, five (5) in the Municipal Level, and one in the City Level.

In the Provincial, suspects Selmer Locloc Martin listed as No. 5 was nabbed for the crime of Frustrated Murder; Ricardo Allam Turaray listed as No. 6 was arrested for the crime of Acts of Lasciviousness; and Castilve Allatis Langbis listed as No. 8, was arrested for Violation of RA 7610 or “Special Protection of Children against Abuse, Exploitation and Discrimination Act.”

In the Municipal Level, Virgilio Flores Avercion was arrested for the crime of Large Scale Illegal Recruitment (Violation of RA 8042 amended by RA 10022) and Ramil Echala Bataller aka “ Rambo” was apprehended for the crime of Robbery in relation to RA 10591 and Violation of RA 10591 or Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act.

Still, in the Municipal Level, Richard Calayon Rapada was arrested for Violation of RA 9262 or Anti-Violence against Women and their Children Act of 2004 while Tirso Dona-al Lingbawan aka “Torso” was arrested for the crime of Murder, both are listed as No. 2 and Albert Baya-ao Wagawag aka Albert Wagawag Banya-ao listed as No. 3, was arrested for the crime of Murder.

Lastly, suspect Fernando Bonalos Flores, listed as No. 10 in the City Level, was arrested for Violation of Section 2 in relation to Sec 14 of RA 6539 or Anti-Carnapping Act of 1972. (PROCOR-PIO)
