KALINGA COPS conduct “PAMASKONG HANDOG” and #BARANGAYANIHAN activity in Pinukpuk
Keeping the Christmas spirit amid the global health crisis, police officers of the Kalinga Police Provincial Office (PPO) conducted an outreach program dubbed as, “Pamaskong Handog and #BARANGAYanihan” in Brgy Asibanglan, Pinukpuk, Kalinga which benefited almost 200 families and learners in the said locality.
During the activity, over 100 families in the barangay received holiday treats and food packs containing rice, noodles, and other basic commodities.
Also, a total of 100 learners of Asibanglan Elementary School received school supplies as their early Christmas presents as part of the “Pamaskong Handog Alay sa Mag-aaral 2021.”
Moreover, they also conducted lectures on anti-criminality; Gender Awareness and Development (GAD); and End Local Communist Armed Conflict (ELCAC) to the participants.
In his message, PCOL DAVY LIMMONG, Kalinga PPO Provincial Director, expressed his gratitude to all who participated in the successful conduct of the outreach program.
“Kalinga PPO is grateful and overjoyed to be part of another outreach activity to make Christmas brighter and merrier for the people in Asibanglan despite the COVID-19 pandemic. I thank all the PNP personnel and other individuals who extended support for the project including the barangay officials who helped facilitate the activity,” he said. (PROCOR-PIO)
