Abra buy-bust net a traffic enforcer

CAMP MAJOR BADO DANGWA, La Trinidad, Benguet –  (April 12, 2021) – A traffic enforcer listed as a drug personality was successfully arrested by the Abra Operatives through a buy-bust operation at Barangay Naguirayan in Pidigan, Abra in the afternoon of April 8, 2021.

Abra PPO Provincial Director, CHRISTOPHER ACOP, identified the suspect as Samy Baggao Ayudan, 38, traffic enforcer in the municipality of Pidigan. In addition, Ayuden is also listed as a Street Level Individual (SLI) and a PDEA High-Value Target (HVT).

Based on the operatives, the suspect was arrested after selling one (1) heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet of suspected shabu with an estimated weight of 0.03 grams and an estimated market value of Php 1,000.00 to an operative who acted as a poseur buyer.

In the course of his arrest, operatives were able to confiscate from his possession another two (2) heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets of suspected shabu with an estimated total weight of 0.09 grams and an estimated market value of Php 6,000.00, and one genuine 1,000-peso bill that served as the buy-bust money.

A red/white Honda XRM single motorcycle without plate number along with the key was also seized by the operatives identified as the getaway vehicle of the suspect.

The inventory and marking of all the pieces of evidence seized were done in the presence of the barangay captain, a barangay kagawad, and media representatives.

The arrested suspect and confiscated pieces of evidence were brought to Pidigan Municipal Police Station for proper disposition while a case for violation of RA 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002) will be filed against the suspect. (PROCOR RPIO)
