2021 RECAP: 1,778 WANTED PERSONALITIES NABBED IN PROCOR’S MANHUNT OPS

In a year-long campaign against wanted persons, PROCOR has once again proven its competency in the arrest of almost two thousand individuals wanted for various crimes.

The relentless efforts of PROCOR cops to track down persons wanted by the law resulted in the arrest of 1,778 individuals with warrants of arrest in separate manhunt operations conducted from January– December 2021.

According to the records of the Regional Investigation and Detective Management Division (RIDMD), for this year, Baguio City Police Office (BCPO) has recorded the highest number of arrests with 731 arrested persons followed by the Benguet Police Provincial Office (PPO) with 415 arrests, Abra PPO with 186 arrests, Ifugao PPO with 167 arrests, Kalinga PPO with 154 arrests, Apayao PPO with 70 arrests, and Mt. Province PPO with 55 arrests.

Of the 1,778 wanted persons arrested, 422 individuals were listed as Most Wanted Personalities (MWP) in various levels: 13 in the Regional Level, 156 in the Provincial/ City Level, and 254 in the Municipal Level.

In a statement, PROCOR Regional Director, PBGEN RONALD O LEE, lauded the men and women of PROCOR for their efforts for putting these fugitives of the law behind bars.
