Unraveling the artistry of PROCOR Cops

PNP Cops showcases their artistry as they joined the Inter-Regional Artist Meet-and-Greet held at PASA-KALYE Activity Alley along T. Claudio St., Baguio City on July 12, 2021. Under the supervision of PCOL MYLES ANGEL PASCUAL, RSTU-Cor Training Manager, Pat Toby Anrioni Cat-Ag, Pat Angelo Emperador, and Pat Aljon Felicio, Police Trainees of the PSBRC Class 2020-05 Sibat Talas were invited as honorary members of Pasa-Kalye Group of Artists, Inc. (PGAI).

In the activity, collaborative artwork was created with artists putting marks on their art styles. This remarkable event was hosted by DOT CAR and also attended by the Department of Tourism (DOT) CALABARZON together with representatives from their Artist Groups centered on the theme, “Benchmarking with Other Region/s for Best Practices through Arts and Cultural Immersion.” This aims to develop art and culture tourism in both regions through sharing of best practices.

Pasa-Kalye Group of Artists, Inc. (PGAI) is a group of local artists organized five years ago devoted to reaching out to indigent patients by raising funds through art. They were also the ones behind the launching of an art event at the PNP Training Institute-Cordillera Administrative Region Training Center entitled “See Artsy Art Exhibit for a Cause” which was under the supervision and guidance of then CARTC Regional Training Director and Chief, PCOL DENNIS BELINAN DUMANEW (Ret.). The said activity was participated by CARTC PSCBRC Classes 2020-03 Bagsik Alab, 2020-04 Sindak Masid, and 2020-05 Sibat Talas, who presented 45 Artwork Exhibits aimed to raise funds to help a classmate in need for medical treatment.
