Truck helper listed as high value drug personality nabbed in La Trinidad drug buy bust
Camp Major Bado, Dangwa La Trinidad, Benguet – (March 30, 2021) – In a joint operation by the Benguet Police and PDEA Cordillera, a truck helper listed a High-Value Individual (HVI) was arrested during a buy-bust operation on March 25, 2021 at Puguis, La Trinidad, Benguet.
The report from PCOL REYNALDO PASIWEN, Province Director of Benguet PPO, identified the suspect as Eugene Nabawel Sacay, 33 years old, a resident of Puguis, La Trinidad, Benguet.
Revealed from the report, Sacay was arrested after he sold one heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing suspected shabu with an estimated weight of 0.10 grams having a Standard Drug Price of Php 680.00 to an operative who acted as poseur buyer in a parking lot of La Trinidad, Benguet.
Moreover, operatives seized from the suspect another six sachets of suspected shabu with an estimated weight of two grams valued at Php 13,600.00, one white keypad cellular phone, cash amounting to Php 3,600.00 and 1,000 peso bill as buy-bust money.
On-site inventory of the confiscated items was witnessed by Prosecutor Andress Gondayao and Kagawad Dionisio Cadley of Barangay Puguis, La Trinidad, Benguet
Furthermore, the suspect is currently held in custody of La Trinidad MPS for violation of RA 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act of 2002. (PROCOR RPIO)
