PROCOR REGIONAL DIRECTOR VISITS ABRA PPO

CAMP MAJOR BADO DANGWA, LA TRINIDAD, BENGUET – As part of his continous efforts to check the welfare and understand the situation of personnel on the ground, PROCOR Regional Director PBGEN RONALD OLIVER LEE, visited and talked to the men and women of Abra Police Provincial Office (PPO) at Camp Colonel Juan Villamor, Calaba, Bangued, Abra on June 2, 2021.

PBGEN LEE and party were warmly welcomed through a “Pattong” dance performed by Abra PPO dancers and followed by the PNP Blue Mass officiated by the Regional Pastoral Officer Rev. Fr. PLTCOL JONATHAN L CHY.

During the Command Visit, the Regional Director awarded the Medalya ng Kagalingan to four Abra PNP personnel for their notable anti-illegal drug accomplishments. The awardees were PCPT VAN KIMBER G KITONG, PEMS Rommel Castillo Landa of the Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit (PDEU), PSSg Raymund L Bringas and PCpl Rommel C Tuanquin.

In his ”Talk to Men”, PBGEN LEE noted the improvements of the Provincial Office and the Municipal Police Stations and commended their efforts to align with the Intensified Cleanliness Policy of the PNP. He then led the inauguration and blessing of the newly constructed Abra PPO Grandstand.

Also, he presided a command conference at the Abra Provincial Capitol, Zone 5, Bangued, Abra wherein the issues and concerns of the personnel were raised and properly addressed by the Regional Director. He reminded them of the importance of working as a team and serving with respect and humility. (PROCOR-PIO)
