Beautician arrested for selling illegal drugs

A beautician will now be facing charges for violation of RA 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 after he was arrested in a buy-bust operation in La Trinidad, Benguet on March 8, 2022.

According to the reports submitted to PROCOR Regional Director, PBGEN RONALD OLIVER LEE, the arrested suspect was identified as Christian Valdez Flores a.k.a. “Mia”, 29 years old, and a native of Nueva Ecija.

“Mia” was arrested after he sold to an operative acting as a poseur-buyer one (1) plastic sachet of suspected shabu weighing 0.07 grams and a standard drug price (SDP) of Php 476.00.

Markings and inventory of the pieces of evidence were on-site in the presence of the arrested suspect and witnessed by Kagawad Angel Decaleng of Brgy. Betag, La Trinidad, Benguet, and Prosecutor Andres Gondayao from the Department of Justice (DOJ).

The arrested suspects and the confiscated pieces of evidence were brought to the custody of La Trinidad MPS for documentation and proper disposition of the case. (PROCOR-PIO)
