44 YOUTH LEADERS JOINS RMFB’S YOUTH SUMMIT

PROCOR Camp Major Bado Dangwa, La Trinidad, Benguet: A total of 44 youth leaders coming from the different provinces of the Cordilleras attended the first-ever youth summit organized by the Regional Mobile Force Battalion 15 in Benguet on December 27-29, 2021.

Dubbed as “1st Youth Mobile Force Regional Summit”, the three-day summit was held at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Montessori (OLMCM) Sanctuary in Long-long, La Trinidad, Benguet.

To empower the youth, various topics such as conflict management, knowing one’s self: self-development, leadership, communication, team building, and mental health awareness were discussed by the invited lecturers.

Among the notable lecturers invited were Ms. Khristine E. Molitas from the Bayanihan Cordillera & a member of Battalion Advisory Council (BAC), and Mr. Ricky B. Ducas Jr., a Mental Health Coordinator from the City Health Services Office of Baguio.

Also, various social issues like the deceptive propaganda of the Communist Front Organization were also discussed.

In his statement, the Force Commander of RMFB15, PLTCOL JOSHUA F ALEJANDRO lauded the YMF’s efforts in supporting the various programs and advocacies of RMFB15 in keeping the peace in the Cordillera Region. He also assures the support of RMFB15 in the future activities of Youth Mobile Force.###
