Two member of the senate gave assistance to the residents after the magnitude 7.3 earthquake hit the Lagangilang, Abra

LOOK: Senator CHRISTOPHER LAWRENCE “BONG” GO and Senator ROBIN PADILLA arrived in the province of Abra on July 31, 2022 to personally check the situation on the ground a few days after an earthquake jolted the province.

In Camp Col Juan Villamor, Bangued, Abra, the two senators were received by PROCOR Regional Director, PBGEN RONALD O LEE together with Abra PPO Provincial Director, MALY C CULA.

Personnel of Abra PPO and RMFB15 provided area security to the two senators who visited Barangay Sta. Rosa, Bangued to provide humanitarian assistance by distributing cash assistance, and food packs.

Also, as part of their advocacy for drug abuse prevention, they distributed t-shirts, rubber shoes, and several sports equipment to the residents.

Afterward, the senators went to Lagangilang, Abra for another humanitarian work thereat. (PROCOR-PIO)
