PRO CAR, through “BINNADANG CORDILLERA.” Delivers Aid to Typhoon-Affected Community in Tinoc

The Police Regional Office Cordillera Administrative Region (PRO CAR) has once again demonstrated the enduring spirit of Binnadang, delivering essential relief to typhoon-affected families in Tinoc, Ifugao, on November 30, 2025.

According to the Regional Mobile Force Battalion 15 (RMFB15), they initiated a donation drive in line with the “Panag-aywan Iti Kailyan” program. Through their efforts, they successfully collected 92 sacks of 5-kilo rice, two sacks of half-cavan rice, 150 bags of assorted clothes, 130 bags of assorted food items, five boxes of canned goods, two boxes of vitamins, one box of cup noodles, and other essential supplies from various agencies, cooperatives, and private donors.

The relief goods were transported to Tinoc and formally received by Municipal Councilor Hon. Melyn Apilis Pugong, ensuring that support reached the residents directly affected by the typhoon.

PBGEN ERICSON D DILAG, Regional Director of PRO CAR, emphasized that the unit’s participation highlights the police’s commitment to timely and compassionate service beyond law enforcement.

This initiative embodies the true spirit of Binnadang—the Cordilleran tradition of communal unity and mutual aid—demonstrating that in times of adversity, the community comes together to provide help, hope, and healing to every kakailyan. (RPIO PRO CAR /File Photos)
