Over P40K Shabu seized, 3 drug personalities nabbed

CAMP MAJOR BADO DANGWA, LA TRINIDAD, BENGUET-  (July 26, 2021) – A High-Value Individual (HVI) and two Street-Level Individuals (SLI) were arrested while Php 40,360 worth of suspected shabu were seized after separate buy-bust operations were conducted in the evening of July 24, 2021 in Baguio City.

According to the reports submitted to the Regional Director, PBGEN RONALD OLIVER LEE disclosed that joint operatives of  Camdas Police Station (PS2), DEU & CIU of Baguio CPO, and PDEA CAR launched the operations that resulted in the arrest of three suspects identified as Dlanor John Aquino Villanueva (HVI), 30;  Sandra Marie Menis Waclin (SLI), 24 and Mike Kevin Ancheta Bane (SLI), 26, all are residents of Baguio City.

In Lower Magsaysay, suspect Villanueva was arrested after he sold one (1) piece of a small heat-sealed transparent sachet containing suspected shabu weighing MOL 0.4 grams with Dangerous Drugs Board (DDB) value of Php 3,000.00 to an operative who acted as a poseur-buyer.

During the course of his arrest, an additional three (3) heat-sealed transparent sachets containing suspected shabu weighing MOL 2 grams worth Php 13,600.00 and Boddle money were seized from his possession.

In Bakakeng Central, Marcos Highway suspects Waclin and Bane were arrested after they sold one (1) piece of a small heat-sealed transparent sachet containing suspected shabu weighing MOL 0.2 grams with a DDB value of Php 1,360.00 to an undercover operative.

Further, operatives also seized three (3) pieces of a heat-sealed transparent sachet containing suspected shabu weighing MOL 3 grams worth Php 20,400.00; one transparent ziplock containing plastic sachet with suspected shabu weighing MOL 0.3 gram amounting to Php 2,000.00 and the boddle money.

Three suspects were brought to Camdas Police Station for documentation and proper disposition, while cases for violation of RA 9165 or Comprehensive Drug Act of 2002 is being prepared for filling againts them. (PROCOR-PIO)
