GSO bares latest update on special patent applications
The city was able to complete the title of special patent applications of 10 properties as of Nov. 9 according to General Services Office (GSO) head Eugene Buyucan in the regular management committee meeting, Nov. 16, of local officials led by Mayor Benjamin Magalong at Baguio Convention Center.
He said titles are the City Treasurerβs office cottage; Pinsao Pilot district health center; Local Civil Registry office; New Lucban barangay hall; Health Services Office main; and City Environment Parks and Management Office (now Solid Waste Management).
Baguio City Hall; City Engineering Office; Bayan Park; and the Holy Ghost Proper barangay hall are the other city properties whose special patents have already been completed and entered at the Register of Deeds registration book.
Buyucan said properties still undergoing the titling process are Pacdal Health Center; Burnham Park Lots 1, 6 and 4; Baguio City Police Office Lots 4 and 6; Social Development Center (Balenben); Crafts and Productivity Center Lots 1, 2 and 3.
Properties still facing some legal and technical issues, he said, are Wright Park; Silungan Center; City Buildings and Architecture Office; Bureau of Fire (beside Justice Hall); Commission on Audit Cottage; Irisan Health Center Purok 12 (donated by Kiwas family); and Mines View Park (Proclamation 646).
The Survey Plans of all the properties undergoing the titling process and facing issues have all been approved, Buyucan said. – Gaby B. Keith
