Drug personalities busted in Baguio City

Two (2) drug personalities both listed as Street Level Individual (SLI) were arrested in a buy-bust operation conducted by personnel of Baguio CPO at Upper Camdas, Baguio City on August 22, 2021.

Based on the reports submitted to PBGEN RONALD OLIVER LEE, Regional Director, the suspects were identified as Jonathan Claveria Dela Cruz, 23; and Marc Dulagan Daplayan, 19, both residents of Middle Quirino Hill, Baguio City.

The suspects were arrested after they sold to an operative acting as poseur buyer one transparent ziplock of suspected dried marijuana leaves weighing more or less (MOL) 40 grams with Standard Drug Price (SDP) amounting to Php 5,000.00.

During their arrest, recovered from their possession were another two (2) sachets containing suspected dried marijuana leaves weighing MOL 12 grams with SDP amounting to Php 1,500.00; buy-bust money and two cellphones used in the transaction.

Markings and inventory of confiscated pieces of evidence were done on-site in the presence of the suspect and witnessed by Prosecutor Sigrid Lacwasan Canawil, Barangay Kagawad Eduardo Cantala of Camdas, and Charles Nico Limon of RNG Luzon.

The pieces of evidence were brought to Baguio City Crime Laboratory Office (BCCLO) for Qualitative and Quantitative Examination while a case for violation of RA 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 is being prepared against the arrested suspects. (PROCOR-PIO)
