City to celebrate ‘National Employees Week’

The LGU-Baguio Employees Association Incorporated (LGU-BEAI) will conduct an employees blood letting activity on December 7, 8 am to 3pm, at the city council session hall in coordination with the Philippine Red Cross-Baguio chapter.      

LGU-BEAI president Jerry Guevara said the event is part of the city’s celebration of National Employees Week every first week of December in line with Presidential Proclamation No. 1130 series of 1997.   

Also to be held is an outreach program for clients of the Social Development Center at Irisan barangays and at the City Social Welfare Development Office Silungan Center on December 9  from 10 am to 3 in the afternoon.     

The celebration will kick-off during the flag-raising rites at City Hall on December 6 at 8am highlighted by a raffle draw for government workers, Guevara said. – Gaby B. Keith
