City condoles with family of late pastor and barangay officer

Mayor Benjamin Magalong ratified city council resolution no. 365, series of 2022, expressing the deepest sympathies and heartfelt condolences of the officialdom and constituency of the city to the bereaved family of the late Pastor Graciano Baculi Saugen, member of the Lupong Tagapamayapa of Loakan barangay, who passed away on August 18, this year.
The measure states that as a Pastor of the Loakan Baptist Church, Saugen played a very important role in mediating conflicts or differences of concerned constituents to a peaceful agreement and reconciliation.
He also contributed his leadership talent in the reorganization of the Loakan Proper Senior Citizens Association (LPSCA), the approved resolution adds.
As president of LPSCA, the measure points out that Saugen contributed a lot in the implementation of its social responsibility projects that benefited constituents of Loakan Proper barangay.
“Saugen’s invaluable contribution to the barangay is greatly appreciated. His legacy as a true leader is worth emulating and will remain in the hearts and minds not only of barangay residents, his congregation, but of the City of Baguio and its constituents as well,” the resolution states. – Gaby B.
