WORK GOES ON

While on isolation due to COVID-19 infection, Mayor Benjamin Magalong presides over the Management Committee (MANCOM) meeting of the executive department heads via Zoom. Conducted weekly, the meeting is where executives discuss and agree on plans, programs, and activities for implementation in the city including those addressing COVID-19 concerns.

The mayor who turned positive for the virus last April 2 assured city officials that he currently “feels okay.” He chose to remain on home isolation to avoid adding to the burden of hospitals now struggling with the surge in case admissions. “Sayang pa yung isang kwarto kung kukunin ko.
