Top performing Medical Technology examinees cited

City officials recently congratulated and commended Stephen Joseph Gabuni Gambino, John Russel Mendoza Perez and Michelle Ven Cayandag Meria of the Saint Louis University (SLU) as top performing examinees in the medical technologist licensure examinations 2023.

In a resolution authored by Councilor Leandro B. Yangot, Jr., local legislators stated that the said examinees who are students of the Catholic-run higher education institution brought pride and prestige to the city which has been considered as the undisputed Summer Capital of northern Luzon over the past several decades.

SLU was among the reported top performing schools nationwide in the recently concluded 2023 medical technologist licensure examination held in various parts of the country administered by the Professional Regulation Commission.

Further, the said higher education institution ranked second place among all the schools nationwide with a 99.63 percent passing rate where 271 passed the said examination out of the 272 examinees that took the same.

The local legislative body recognized the 3 SLU examinees who were among the top performing students in the said examination where Gambito ranked fifth with a 91.50 percent rating, Perez landed in 9th spot with a 91.10 rating and Meria rounding up the 10 spot with a 91 percent rating. – Dexter A.
