Street level drug personality busted in Benguet

Operatives of La Trinidad Municipal Police Station and PDEA-Benguet conducted a buy-bust operation in Km 5, Pico La Trinidad, Benguet that resulted in the arrest of a Street Level Individual in the afternoon of March 11, 2021.

The suspect, identified as Fritz Mark Salipen Balicdang, 29 years old, porter and presently residing at Eastern Buyagan, Poblacion, La Trinidad, Benguet, was arrested after he sold a sachet of suspected shabu to the anti-illegal drugs operative who acted as poseur-buyer.

A subsequent search against the arrested suspect yielded another five pieces of heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu weighing 0.46grams with an estimated worth of Php3,128.00, one Php1,000.00 buy-bust money, and an Infinix touchscreen cellular phone.

All pieces of evidence were marked and inventoried on-site in the presence of Barangay Kagawad Wilma Moncado and Prosecutor Caroline Cuilan.

Balicdang who was brought to La Trinidad MPS will be facing charges for violation of RA 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act. PROCOR RPIO)
