SM Supermalls Fourth Simultaneous Nationwide Fire Drill 2025

BAGUIO CITY – The Simultaneous Nationwide Fire Drill aligns with SM Supermalls’ commitment to safety and disaster resilience, reinforcing its role as a responsible community partner in emergency preparedness.

In line with the SM City Baguio and the partnership with Bureau Fire Protection commitment to strengthening fire safety preparedness successfully conducted a simultaneous nationwide fire drill on March 4, 2025.

Under the guidance of the mall’s Emergency Response Team with SM Baguio Assistant Mall Manager Jason Peña and BFP personnel, participants swiftly proceeded to designated safety zones, demonstrating efficiency in fire emergency protocols.

In an interview with SM City Baguio Mall Manager (Incident Commander) John Philip Bascay, “Aligned with Fire Prevention Month, the Fourth Nationwide Simultaneous Fire Drill on High-Density Occupancies was conducted in partnership with the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP).

“Our collaboration with BFP underscores our commitment to ensuring the safety of our shoppers, tenants, and employees.

“Ginagawa namin itong fire dril para in case na magkaroon talaga ng ganitong insidente sa mall natin the biggest mall in the city ay alam na natin kung ano ang mga dapat gawin sa maayos na pag evacuate sa mga tenants at employees, paano tayo mag reponde at agaran pag report sa BFP,”
