PROCOR welcomes the Director of PNP Training Service

CAMP MAJOR BADO DANGWA, La Trinidad, Benguet – The Director of PNP Training Service was warmly welcomed by Police Regional Office Cordillera during the Distinguished Visitors Program coinciding with the Regular Monday Flag Raising Ceremony on the morning of February 8, 2021 at the PROCOR Parade Ground in Camp Major Bado Dangwa, La Trinidad, Benguet.

The ceremony was hosted by PROCOR Regional Director PBGEN R’WIN S PAGKALINAWAN and was graced by the Director of PNP Training Service PBGEN BERNARD M BANAC as the guest of honor and speaker.

As the highlights of the program, six Cordillera cops were awarded and recognized for their invaluable service rendered to the PNP organization.

Medalya ng Kasanayan (PNP Efficiency Medal) was awarded to PLT HUGH REGINALD G COPLAT and PEMS Joseph Slade S Filog for their service during the conduct of Basic Internal Security Operations Course (BISOC) Class 2020-03 RCOR at Dam 2, Philex Mines, Ampucao, Itogon, Benguet. PLT COPLAT was a member of the Training Committee while PEMS Filog was a member of the Training Staff.

The same medal was also awarded to PMAJ RAMON B ESPIRITU, JR and PEMS Christopher P Nebrida for the successful conduct of Police Explosive Reconnaissance Course (PERC) at the Regional Headquarters and Dap-ayan Hall, Pico, La Trinidad, Benguet. PMAJ ESPIRITU was a member of the Training the committee while PEMS Nebrida was a member of the Course Facilitator.

Furthermore, recipients of the same medal were PEMS Louie D Demot and PEMS Julian G Ngoslab for the successful conduct of PNP Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) Course at Dam 2, Philex Mines, Ampucao, Itogon, Benguet. PEMS Demot was a member of the Training Staff while PEMS Ngoslab was a member of the Course Facilitator.

The awards were presented by PBGEN BANAC assisted by PBGEN PAGKALINAWAN and the Command Group.

In his message, PBGEN BANAC said that as police officers, they should be undergoing skills and character development alongside with it as both skills and character are what makes a well-rounded police officer. He also reiterated the importance of the two advocacies of the Chief PNP which are strong faith in God and love for family. (PROCOR RPIO)
