PROCOR joins NCIP Seminar-Workshop

The Police Regional Office Cordillera joined the two-day seminar-workshop facilitated by the National Commission of Indigenous People (NCIP) at the Benitez Hall in Teachers’ Camp, Baguio City on August 29 and 30, 2022.

Anchored with the theme “Healing, Reconciliation, and Operationalizing the 11 Building Blocks in the Ancestral Domain in Support to the Whole of Government/Whole of Nation Approach by Empowering the FRs, IP Youth/IP-EPs, and IP Leaders”, the activity was participated by IP Youths and IP Elders from Benguet, Baguio City, and Mountain Province.

The said workshop-seminar was also attended by the City Director of the Baguio City Police Office, PCOL GLENN D LONOGAN, the Provincial Director of Benguet Police Provincial Office, PCOL DAMIAN OLSIM, and the Quad Staff of PROCOR Regional Headquarters.

Spearheaded by the Chairman of the NCIP, Sec. Allen A. Capuyan, the activity was conducted as part of the continuing effort to level the understanding and support of all the stakeholders on the significance and importance of the operationalization of the 11 Building blocks among the Indigenous People Communities and to come up with actionable ways to end the presence of the CTGs and their Organs of Political Powers in the different province of the Cordillera.
