PNP Top COP visits Baguio City Police Office

As part of his visit to the Cordilleras, PNP Chief, PGEN GUILLERMO LORENZO T ELEAZAR, paid his first Command Visit to Baguio City Police Office in Abanao Street, Baguio City on August 15, 2021.

PGEN ELEAZAR was warmly greeted with a traditional welcome dance by Baguio police. He was also accorded with Foyer Honors and was personally received by BCPO City Director, PCOL GLENN D LONOGAN.

As highlight of the program, the BCPO personnel with outstanding accomplishments were awarded with Medalya ng Kagalingan (PNP Medal of Merit). The awardees were PCPT RODOLFO G SERRAN, Station Commander of Pacdal Police Station; PLT FILMORE DR PASIWEN, Assistant Chief of Drug Enforcement Unit; PLT ROBERT W VELASCO, Deputy Station Commander of Naguilian Police Station; PCpl Floro A Camora, Pat Eugene A Tumaru, and Pat Edmar A Domyong.

During his Talk to the Men and Women of BCPO, PGEN ELEAZAR extended his congratulations to all the awardees and challenged all the personnel to continue their adherence to the PNP’s programs to gain the trust and confidence of the public.

In addition, he also emphasized the Intensified Cleanliness Policy (ICP), which is anchored on the “Broken Window Policy” and is aimed to correct minor and small problems in the service to prevent them from getting worse.

“The ICP does not only limit to clean police stations but this is also instilling discipline to every police officer,” he added.

Further, as part of his continuous efforts to check on the welfare of police officers on the lower units, PGEN ELEAZAR also conducted field visits and inspections to the different police stations of BCPO to check on their current situation and ensure their adherence to the ICP. (PRCOR-PIO)
