PANAGBENGA GOES FLUVIAL

A Fluvial Float Parade was staged on March 26, 2022, at Burnham Lake as part of the Panagbenga 2022 Special Edition by the Department of Tourism-CAR in partnership with the City of Baguio, Baguio Flower Festival Inc. (BFFI), and the Boatmen Association of Burnham Park.

The DOT-CAR said the event featured eight “boats creatively bedecked with natural flowers and vegetations parading around the lake with lively performances by the SLU Marching Band.”

“With this year’s theme of ‘Let Hope Bloom,’ the activity aims to regain travel confidence among tourists and aid in the promotion of the boating activity in Burnham Park to spark hope to a recovering tourism industry,” the agency said.  Photo by Neil Ongchangco
