Over P18M Worth of Illegal Drugs Seized, Two High Value Individual Arrested in PRO-CAR’S Weeklong Drug Ops

The Police Regional Office Cordillera Administrative Region (PRO-CAR) conducted a series of successful anti-illegal drug operations from October 28 to November 3, 2024, resulting in the seizure of PhP18,290,000.00 worth of illegal drugs and the arrest of two drug personalities.

During the weeklong campaign, PRO-CAR conducted a total of 14 operations in the provinces of Benguet, Kalinga, and Mountain Province that resulted in the confiscation of 30,310 pieces of Fully Grown Marijuana Plants, 7,000 Marijuana Seedlings, 99,000 grams of dried marijuana leaves with fruiting tops, and 10 grams of suspected shabu with an overall value of PhP18,290,000.00.

The most significant operations took place in Kalinga, where the Lumin-awa Cops of Kalinga Police Provincial Office (PPO) successfully seized illegal drugs worth PhP12,698,000.00 while the Cabalyero Cops of the Benguet PPO eradicated marijuana plants worth PhP5,592,000.00 and arrested a High Value Individual (HVI). Also, the Inayan cops of Mountain Province PPO arrested an HVI.
