New Forensic building to rise in Camp Dangwa

Marking the beginning of the construction of the Regional Forensic Unit building, PROCOR Regional Director, PBGEN RONALD O LEE and PNP Forensic Group Director, PBGEN BELLI B TAMAYO, spearheaded the Ground Breaking Ceremony at Camp Major Bado Dangwa, La Trinidad, Benguet on 24, 2022.

To foster a positive and sustainable working environment, the construction of a four-story modern building to serve as the new home of the Regional Forensics Unit-Cordillera is now underway. The building will serve as a new facility to process and store pieces of evidence collected from the different crime scenes in the region.

With the help of Congressman Eric Yap, the approval of the budget for the said construction was granted. Cong. Yap also assured that he is with one with PROCOR’s vision.

Meanwhile, PBGEN TAMAYO expressed his gratitude to the stakeholders for the realization of this project. He also emphasized that the construction of the building will provide a greater and more conducive working space for forensic examiners.

The simple ceremony ended with the ceremonial laying of a time capsule. (PROCOR-PIO)
