Minor busted for selling illegal drugs in Baguio City

Camp Major Bado Dangwa, La Trinidad, Benguet – (August 25, 2021) – A minor listed as a Street Level drug personality is now under the custody of Baguio City police after being caught selling marijuana in a buy-bust operation conducted by anti-illegal drugs operatives of Baguio CPO in Campo Filipino, Baguio City in the afternoon of August 23, 2021.

Reports submitted to the Regional Director, PBGEN RONALD OLIVER LEE, disclosed that joint elements of Baguio CPO and PDEA – CAR launched the operation that resulted in the arrested of a minor who is listed in the Directorate for Intelligence (DI) as a Street Level Individual (SLI).

The suspect was arrested after selling suspected dried Marijuana leaves wrapped in transparent plastic weighing 20 grams with Php 2,400.00 Standard Drug Price (SDP) to an undercover operative who acted as a poseur buyer.

The markings and inventory of all seized pieces of evidence were accomplished on-site duly witnessed by Brgy. Kagawad Irene Ayao-ao, Prosecutor Don Immanuel Vergara, and Ms. Janice Juanito of Bombo Radyo.

The minor and the confiscated pieces of evidence were brought to Abanao Police Station for documentation and proper disposition, while a case for violation of RA 9165 otherwise known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 is being prepared for filling against him. (PROCOR-PIO)
