Madaling makipagtalo; mas radikal ang magmahal’

Amidst divisive political discussions, VP Leni urges supporters to be loving, calm in spreading the message

Vice President Leni Robredo on Thursday, Oct. 21, rallied her supporters to be calm, loving and kind amidst hateful and divisive political discussions ahead of the national elections in 2022.

This as Robredo’s camp continues to see a swell in support for her candidacy, following her announcement to join the presidential race exactly two weeks ago.

In a recorded message, VP Leni said: “Tandaan: Madaling makipagtalo; mas radikal ang magmahal…

As she thanked her supporters, the Vice President also emphasized that pink is not just a color, but a movement and lifestyle that promote the importance of openness and love.

In wearing pink, Robredo said supporters should embody the real meaning of their advocacy by doing acts of kindness, helping the needy, and by being calm in spreading their message.

When VP Leni declared her intention to run for the presidency, social media pages of thousands of individuals and brands turned pink, facades of several institutions in some parts of the country were also illuminated in pink, to show their solidarity with VP Leni’s fight.

In deciding on her new campaign color, Robredo underscored that her camp listened to the call of the people to use pink in expressing their support for VP Leni.
