“From the very start of our campaign, “Service with a Heart” is what we committed, a slogan that placed our ka-kailyan’s well-being above everything else.. and we stayed true to this commitment. We asked and listened to what matters most to you. And we did it, in the best and most sincere way possible.
One of our desires is a safe and progressive community, a La Trinidad with a vibrant economy and where opportunities abound.
You wanted an honest government that listens to you and takes action for every issue. “Inaramid tayo dayta, manipud idi first term tayo a kas ama iti ili tayo nga La Trinidad, in-pakat tayo iti kaba-elan tayo, iti si a-ayat ken si pu-pudno a serbisyo. And we will do that and more in the next three years to come. Haan tayo nga bay-bay-an iti pag progreso-an iti ili tayo.
“For these coming 3 years, we start our service with a lot of experience in our Sangguniang Bayan: Re-elected Vice Mayor Roderick Awingan and re-elected councilor: Coun. Guiller Galwan, who is now both on their third term … Councilors Lee, Dangwa, Botiwey, and Walang, and the come-backing coun Kipas.
“We have two new councilors who will bring fresh ideas and perspectives to the discussions: Former Bahong Punong Barangay Belmer Elis and Former Legal Officer Atty. Bartolome Baldas Jr. Welcome to both of you…”
Also, I wish to thank the services of BM/Coun. Nestor “Bobot” Fongwan Jr., Coun Renato Tereng, and Coun. Arthur Shontogan… La Trinidad is grateful. I believe our love for service does not and will not end here… We bid you God’s blessing and protection.

As a regular Municipality, La Trinidad is 72 years old. Mamati-ak kakailyan nga its very important for us to realize that our role to govern should also be anchored on the foundations laid by our predecessors.
Over the next three years, I believe that all of your officials who will take their oaths today will continue to pursue and give our best to achieve our shared dreams with our past officials, for our people to always wake up to a peaceful community where every family has a home, food on their table and the opportunity to realize his or her own potential…
“Dakami nga officials yu, kayat mi nga maging parte kayo iti progress iti ili tayo. Denggen yu dakami ken denggen mi met dakayo, ag titinulong tayo to overcome the issues and concerns our municipality is facing,”
“Rest assured that we will continue to represent each and every citizen of La Trinidad. That’s a commitment to you. To do the very best we can for the whole community.
Many times, it’s been said: We are a Municipality functioning as a City. There are many challenges, and they grow by the day. But we will not waver.
“We still have an ongoing pandemic. We still have buildings, one of which is the Municipal Hall to build. We still have children to feed, clothe and educate.
We still have an environment to protect. We still have farmers to support. We still have storms to weather. And… we still have a La Trinidad to love.
“The progress of our municipality is not the sole responsibility of the elected officials and government employees, it is all our responsibility. Let us all make La Trinidad a competitive clean, safe, dynamic, child-friendly municipality. In our own simple ways, we can. By segregating our garbage, upcycling, not spitting momma on our streets, following ordinances, and by simply being a law-abiding citizen. Ag titinulong tayo kakailyan para kenyatayo, para iti a-anak tayo ken para kadagiti a-apo tayo.
We are committed to delivering a safe community to attract investments. We will build the needed infrastructure.
We will build a more progressive and resilient La Trinidad.
Let us all come together and participate in shaping the future we all want. Together we can, unified we will, with a Sangguniang Bayan that listens and acts for the will of the community… and a people who work for the good of the community as well,”
