Laborer busted in Baguio City

PROCOR’s intensified war against illegal drugs resulted in the arrest of a laborer listed in the Regional Top Ten Illegal Drug Personality (RTTIDP) in a buy-bust operation conducted at Brgy. San Carlos Heights, Irisan, Baguio City on August 21, 2021.

Reports submitted to PBGEN RONALD OLIVER LEE, Regional Director, disclosed the identity of the suspect as Christ John Marisga Quitoriano (RTTIDP), 29 years old, single, and presently residing at Gabriela Silang, Baguio City.

Quitoriano was arrested by joint operatives of RSOG/RID PROCOR, BCPO, PDEG SOU-14 and RIU-14 after he sold to an operative acting as poseur buyer one (1) plastic sachet of suspected shabu with an estimated total weight of 1 gram with Standard Drug Price(SDP) amounting to Php  6,800.00.

During the course of his arrest, seized from his possession were another two (2) plastic sachets containing suspected shabu with a total estimated weight of 0.5 grams with SDP amounting to Php 3,400.00; buy-bust money; cellular phone; and a motorcycle used in the transaction.

Markings and inventory of the pieces of evidence were conducted onsite in the presence of the suspect and witnessed by Punong Barangay Arthur Carlos of Irisan, Baguio City; media representative Charles Nikko Limon; and Prosecutor Sigrid Canawil.

The arrested suspect was brought to Irisan Police Station (PS9) for documentation prior to filing of a case for violation of RA 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 against him.(PROCOR-PIO)
