High-Value Individual drug personality arrested in Baguio City

Camp Major Bado Dangwa, La Trinidad, Benguet- (August 2, 2021) – A recent buy-bust operation conducted by joint operatives of RID/RSOG together with Baguio CPO, RECU COR, RIU-14 and PDEA CAR,  led in the arrest of a High-Value Individual (HVI) at Bugallon Street West, Modern Site, Aurora Hill, Baguio City in the afternoon of August 1, 2021.

According to the reports submitted to the Regional Director, PBGEN RONALD OLIVER LEE, disclosed the identity of the suspect as Joaquin Dela Cruz Albay, 24,  unemployed and a resident of Baguio City.

Operatives arrested Albay, after he sold one (1) plastic sachet of suspected shabu weighing more or less 1 gram with Standard Drug Price (SDP) of Php 6, 800.00 to an undercover operative.

Also, during the course of his arrest, seized from his possession were the bust money and cellphone used in the transaction.

Markings and inventory of the seized pieces of evidence were done on-site in the presence of  Prosecutor Oliver Prudencio, Brgy Captain Rico Yumol of West Modern Site Aurora Hill, Baguio City and Media representative Charles Limon.                                                                                                                                                                                          

The suspect along with the confiscated pieces of evidence was brought at Aurora Hill Police Station (PS6) Baguio CPO, while a case for violation of RA 9165 or Comprehensive Drug Act of 2002 is being prepared for filing against him. (PROCOR-PIO)
