In the City of Pines, honesty is a cherished value.

The city council, jointly and collectively, passed separate resolutions, commending two residents of the Summer Capital for their exemplary acts of honesty, uprightness and integrity.

Resolution no. 303, series of 2022, states that on February 15, this year, Filipinas D. Ramones, a resident of Dr. Carino Street, GEFA-Lower QM barangay, flagged down a taxi at the central business district and found inside the vehicle a cellular phone.

Without hesitation, he immediately made efforts and personally returned it to the rightful owner,  Amie Eserio of Springhills, Loakan-Apugan barangay, the measure states.

Meanwhile, in resolution no. 304, series of 2022, reveals that Hilario R. Caluza Jr., a resident of Dr. Carino Street, GEFA-Lower QM barangay, found a cellular phone along Marcos Highway.
