Baguio COPS closes January with the arrest of high-value drug personality
BAGUIO CITY – Another High-Value drug personality was arrested in the City of Pines as the Baguio City Police Office (BCPO) continue its intensified campaign on anti-illegal drugs.
In his report to the Regional Director, PBGEN R’WIN S PAGKALINAWAN, PCOL ALLEN RAE F CO said that the operatives operatives of Camdas Police Station (PS2) and PDEA-Baguio has arrested one John Patrick PeΓ±amante in a buy-bust operation conducted in East Quirino Hill, Baguio City, in the early morning of January 31, 2021.
PeΓ±amante is listed as High-Value Individual of PDEA-BAGUIO and Street Level Individual (Station Level) of Camdas Police Station (PS2).
A total of .5 grams of suspected shabu worth Php 2,000.00 and one Oppo black cellphone was recovered during the operation.
An on-site inventory of the pieces of evidence recovered was conducted in the pressence of Prosecutor Oliver Isabelo Prodencio, PB Joel M. Bangloy, and Media representative, Ms. Claire G. Dawaton.
The suspect is now under the custody of Camdas Police Station (PS2) while a case for violating RA 9165 or Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act is being prepared against him. (PROCOR RPIO with reports from Baguio CPO PIO)
