City grants favorable reviews to several barangay, SK budgets

Mayor Benjamin Magalong ratified separate city council resolutions granting favorable reviews to the budgets of several barangays and Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) barangay in the Summer Capital for fiscal year 2022.

Resolution no. 296, series of 2022, states that the City Budget Officer forwarded to the City Council the preliminary reviewed budgets of the following barangays: Military Cut-Off; Loakan-Apugan; Bakakeng Norte/Sur; Bayan Park Village; Pinget; Upper General Luna; Camp 8; San Antonio Village; and Atok Trail.

The august body’s committee on barangay affairs, in its 2nd Indorsement dated 18 July 2022, recommended favorable review of their respective barangay budgets.

The approved measure resolves to return the said barangay budgets to the City Budget Office for implementation.

Meanwhile, resolution no. 295, series of 2022, grants favorable review of SK barangay budgets for fiscal year 2022.

It states that the City Budget Officer forwarded to the local legislature the preliminary reviewed SK budgets of the following barangays:  Palma-Urbano; Andres Bonifacio; and Trancoville.

The august body’s committee on youth welfare and sports development, in its 2nd Indorsement, recommended favorable review of the SK budgets.

The approved measure resolves to return the said SK budgets to the City Budget Office for implementation. – Gaby B. Keith
