26th PCR Month-long celebration culminates in PROCOR

The Police Regional Office in Cordillera headed by PBGEN RONALD OLIVER LEE, Regional Director culminated the 26th Police Community Relation Month CELEBRATION with a simple ceremony held at Multi-Purpose Center, Camp Major Bado Dangwa, La Trinidad, Benguet on July 30, 2021.

This year’s PCR month celebration carries the theme “Pulisya at Pamayanan, BARANGAYanihan sa Hamon ng Pandemya at Laban sa Krimen”.

The activity was graced by Hon. Levy Lloyd B Orcales, KKDAT Regional President/Baguio City SK Federation Chairman/ RAC Member as Guest of Honor and Speaker and attended by the men and women of PROCOR,  KKDAT members of the region and youth of different barangays in Baguio & Benguet.

Hon. Orcales highlighted the contributions of the PNP, especially in the “unified response” against the pandemic in Cordillera, their excellent display of Bayanihan, and efforts, communication & support to produce a long-lasting good relationship with the community.

Hon Orcales said, “Our Police forces are always ready to extend a helping hand. And sometimes hindi na kailangan tawagin pa, ang pulis mismo ang mangunguna sa pagtulong sa ating mga kailyan kasama na pati mga bisita.”

Also, Hon. Orcales encourages everyone to work hand in hand with the PNP which he believed that the cooperation between the PNP and community gives hope for a bright future.

Further, PBGEN LEE acknowledged the support of the participating agencies and other stakeholders to the police service and effective initiatives that have contributed to the Barangayanihan of the PNP, prevention of crime, and maintenance of peace and order in Cordillera. (RPIO-PROCOR)
