Three PRO CAR Officers Officially Promoted to PLTCOL
A proud milestone in their law enforcement careers was marked as three Police Commissioned Officers of the Police Regional Office Cordillera Administrative Region (PRO CAR) were officially promoted to the rank of Police Lieutenant Colonel (PLTCOL) under the 1st Quarter 2026 Continuous Promotion Program during the Simultaneous Oath-taking and Donning of Ranks Ceremony on March 18, 2026.
The ceremony, held at the PRO CAR Log Cabin, Camp Major Bado Dangwa, La Trinidad, Benguet, was led by PBGEN ERICSON D DILAG, Regional Director of PRO CAR, who personally administered the oath-taking and the donning of ranks to the promotees: PLTCOL IRVING O KERYAO and PLTCOL JAIME K BANG-I of the Abra Police Provincial Office, and PLTCOL MATTHEW T BURGOS of the Baguio City Police Office.

Also in attendance were PBGEN JULIO S LIZARDO, Deputy Regional Director for Administration; PCOL LEDON D MONTE, Deputy Regional Director for Operations; PCOL FROILAND LOPEZ, Chief Regional Staff; the Regional Staff; the Special Staff; other PRO CAR personnel; a representative from the National Police Commission–CAR; as well as the families and colleagues of the promotees.

In his message, PBGEN DILAG extended heartfelt congratulations to the newly promoted officers, emphasizing that their advancement is not only a recognition of past achievements but also a call to greater responsibility. He encouraged them to embody exemplary leadership, mentorship, and integrity, and to continue inspiring excellence among their teams as they take on more challenging roles in service to the public.
The promotees earned their ranks after successfully passing the screening and evaluation process conducted by the Promotion Board, reflecting their commitment to duty, professionalism, and public service.
