SM CITY CAUAYAN HOSTS KSK FARMER’S MARKET

CAUAYAN CITY, Isabela –  Graduates of SM Foundation’s Kabalikat sa Kabuhayan (KSK) Sustainable Agricultural Program here gets the opportunity to sell their locally-grown crops at SM City Cauayan through the KSK Farmer’s Market Day that was officially launched on July 15, 2022 at SM City Cauayan.

“KSK farmers are given prime location for free in the SM malls to sell their products through the Farmer’s Market Day. They are also linked to SM suppliers to further develop their entrepreneurial skills”, said Ms. Shiela Marie Estabillo, mall manager of SM City Cauayan.

SM Foundation’s KSK is a social program that covers a 12-week training on sustainable agriculture. It is geared to uplift the lives of Filipinos in grassroots communities through sustainable agriculture via technology transfer, product development, and farm-market linkages.

KSK training program is a collaborative effort of SM Prime Holdings, Dept. of Agriculture, Dept. of Social Welfare and Development, and the Dept. of Trade and Industry. To date, a total of 26, 776 farmers were already benefited from the said training program.

The KSK Market Day started after its launching and will be open every Friday during mall hours.# Mae Barangan
