RECOGNIZING EXCELLENCE: DILG-Baguio Honored at City Hall

The City Government of Baguio extends its warmest congratulations to City Director Millicent “Beng” B. Cariño of the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG)-Baguio for being conferred the prestigious “Dangal ng Kagawaran Award” (Individual Category).

Special recognition is also given to the DILG Baguio Team for being named a finalist in the “Bugkos ng Bayan Award” (Team Category) during the DILG-Local Government Academy’s Capacity Development Awards for Catalysts of Excellence.

Acting Mayor Faustino Olowan, Acting Vice Mayor Edison Bilog, and members of the City Council presented framed council resolutions to the awardees during the Flag Raising Ceremony on February 2, 2026, at the Baguio City Hall grounds.
