RECAP: PROCOR captured 1,717 wanted persons in 2020

CAMP MAJOR BADO DANGWA, La Trinidad, Benguet – As the result of the intensified Manhunt Charlie operation, Police Regional Office Cordillera (PROCOR) arrested a total of 1,717 persons wanted for various offenses from January to December 2020.

For the calendar year 2020, 264 listed as Top Most Wanted Persons (TMWP) were captured while a total of 1,453 were other most Wanted Person.

Of the 264 TMWP arrested, BCPO is the highest performing office with the arrest of 100 individuals, followed by Benguet Police Provincial Office (PPO) with 78 arrests, Kalinga PPO with 27, Abra PPO with 25, Ifugao PPO with 15, Mountain Province with 10 and Apayao PPO with 9 arrests. Highlights of these are the capture of 12 Most Wanted Person in the Regional Level, followed by the arrest of 103 TMWP at the Provincial Level and 149 at the Municipal Level.

For other wanted persons apprehended, still, BCPO remains on top, recording a total of 644 number of arrests, then Benguet PPO with 282 arrests, Abra PPO with 200, Ifugao PPO with 130, Kalinga PPO with 122, Apayao PPO with 39, and Mountain Province with 36 arrests with an overall total of 1,453. ###
