RCADD, RPIO and PTV Cordillera conduct Multimedia Production and Management Seminar

The PROCOR Regional Director, PBGEN DAVID K PEREDO, JR., graced the opening ceremony of the one-day Multimedia Production and Management Seminar held at the PRO COR Log Cabin in Camp Major Bado Dangwa, La Trinidad, Benguet on May 23, 2023.

Present during the program were other members of the Command Group; Regional Staff; and the members of the People’s Television headed by Mr. Richard S Valdez, the Station Manager.

Participants during the seminar were Provincial Directors of the different Police Provincial Offices (PPOs), Force Commanders, the Chiefs of the City Community Affairs and Development Unit/Provincial Community Affairs and Development Unit, Chiefs of Police, and social media handlers from the different units of PROCOR.

The one-day seminar was initiated by the Regional Community Affairs and Development Division (RCADD) and the Regional Public Information Office (RPIO) with the help of the PTV Cordillera.

Discussed during the program were Capability Enhancement in Media Relations, Interactive Media/E-Publication, and Multimedia Production Tools and Applications.

Further, the said seminar aims to provide the police officers especially the heads of the different units the new techniques in giving statements and dealing with the media during interviews.

In his message, PBGEN PEREDO JR. encouraged the participants to listen during the seminar as he emphasized the importance of understanding and developing good media relations in the field of policing. (PROCOR-PIO / File Photos)
