PROCOR join the “Barangayanihan Caravan towards National Recovery

Police Regional Office Cordillera joined the National Simultaneous Launching of the Duterte Legacy: “Barangayanihan Caravan Towards National Recovery” at the Masigasig Grandstand, Camp Major Bado Dangwa, La Trinidad, Benguet on September 30, 2021.

In pursuant to the Whole of Nation Approach, the Duterte Legacy Barangayanihan Caravan is a collaboration of all the agencies which aim to bring the government services directly to the people, in this way, the public will not just be aware of these services but also able to see and experience them.

Gracing the event as keynote speaker was ASEC. JV L. ARCENA, Presidential Communications Operations Office-OGMPA, wherein he presented the Duterte Legacy throughout the Cordillera region on infrastructure projects; social services; anti-drugs and anti-criminality campaigns; and other accomplishments amidst the health crisis.

“Nawa’y magka-isa tayong lahat at sama-sama po nating gampananin ang ating mga tungkulin sa pamamagitan ng whole of society at whole of government approach para malampasan natin ang krisis pangkalusugan at anumang sakuna, kalamidad at krisis na maari nating harapin pa sa hinaharap”, he added.

Moreover, Secretary Andanar of PCOO, expressed his gratitude for the participants who attended the event. “We are gathered here for the Duterte Legacy Barangayanihan Caravan to remember and celebrate the goals we have accomplished, the visions we have realized, the promises we have attained and the lives we have changed together”, he said.

The said event was attended physically and virtually by members and representatives from the different government agencies, Local Government Units, civic organizations and advocacy groups. (PROCOR-PIO)
