PROCOR COPS joined simultaneous Barangayanihan in Mountain Province

As part of the Duterte Legacy: Barangayanihan Caravan Towards National Recovery, PROCOR cops together with the different government agencies successfully conducted Barangayanihan at Barangay Caluttit and Poblacion both in Bontoc, Mountain Province on October 15, 2021.

PBGEN RONALD OLIVER LEE, Regional Director, graced the event as the Guest of Honor and speaker. The said activity was made successful through the collaborative effort of the PNP; DSWD; Provincial Health Office; TESDA; PSA; DOST; and other line agencies.

The said Caravan is a Whole of Nation Approach which aims to bring the government services directly to the people, in this way, the public will not just be aware of these services but also able to see and experience them. 

In Barangay Caluttit, PBGEN LEE assisted by Ms. Bong Lee, Hon. Franklin C. Odsey, Hon. Jimmy Cherwaken, and the MPPPO Ladies Club members, distributed 30 food packs to the selected beneficiaries in the said barangay.

Meanwhile, in Barangay Poblacion, the DSWD awarded livelihood assistance to three identified ELCAC barangays amounting to Php 300,000.00 each; in-kind assistance; and livelihood projects & general merchandise.

During the activity, a total of 358 beneficiaries availed themselves the different services offered by the different line agencies such as libreng gupit; police clearance; free BP Check-up; scholarships & livelihood project from TESDA; and National ID from PSA.

“Duterte Legacy: Barangayanihan Caravan is one way of delivering and bringing the services of the government closer to the community”, PBGEN LEE said.

Also, he commended all partner agencies in coming up together in bringing out its services to the people.
