PRO CAR’s Month-long Drug Ops Yield over P33-M worth of Illegal Drugs; 35 Drug Personalities Arrested

The Police Regional Office Cordillera Administrative Region (PRO CAR) closed the month of September with a significant breakthrough in its anti-illegal drugs campaign. From September 1 to 30, 2025, PRO CAR carried out 70 anti-illegal drug operations, which resulted in the seizure of illegal drugs valued at PhP33,286,832.00 and the arrest of 35 drug personalities.

According to reports from the Regional Operations Division, these operations included 42 marijuana eradication efforts, 11 buy-bust operations, nine implementations of search warrants, six services of warrants of arrest, and two police responses.

These efforts led to the confiscation of 140.84 grams of shabu, 160,465 fully grown marijuana plants, 5,075 marijuana seedlings, and 126 grams of dried marijuana leaves and fruiting tops, totaling PhP33,268,832.00 in value.

Additionally, 35 drug personalities were arrested, with 11 identified as High Value Individuals and 24 as Street Level Individuals.

These accomplishments underscore PRO CAR’s unwavering commitment to the campaign against illegal drugs and to ensuring public safety. Beyond law enforcement, PRO CAR also implements community-based education programs and works closely with local organizations to provide support services.
