NO. 8 HIGH-VALUE DRUG PERSONALITY NABBED IN BAGUIO CITY

Camp Major Bado Dangwa, La Trinidad, Benguet- (July 4, 2021) – Another target listed drug personality was arrested Baguio City as the result of anti-illegal drugs operations of Baguio CPO, NBI, and PDEA in Regidor St. Barangay Pacdal late afternoon of July 2, 2021.

Based on the reports submitted to the Regional Director, PBGEN RONALD OLIVER LEE identified the arrested suspect as Areeya Fernandez Damogo, 27, listed as No. 8 High-Value Target of PDEA and Street Level Individual under the Directorate of Intelligence (DI) of the Philippine National Police.

Damogo was arrested after selling one sachet of suspected shabu weighing MOL 1.0 gram with SDP of Php 6,800.00 to an undercover agent who acted as a poseur buyer.

Documentation and inventory of the seized pieces of evidence were done on-site in the presence of Prosecutor Oliver Prudencio, DOJ representative; Barangay Captain Abraham Lagasca II of Pacdal Barangay; and Janice Dennis, a media representative.

The suspect was brought to NBI-Baguio for documentation and proper disposition while charges for violation of RA 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 is being prepared against her. (PROCOR-PIO)
